January 27th was a cold Monday eighteen years ago. Washington Redskins fans were celebrating their Super Bowl win over the Buffalo Bills. We were celebrating for a more important reason. We welcomed Sarah Clare Graham into the world. It had been over eight years since we had a baby in the family and she was the first girl after four boys. We were in awe of her and still are! The boys in our family say they didn't get any presents after Sally came along! It's not true, but we MAY dote on her a little more! ;)
Sally was a beautiful baby. She had the most adorable curls and sweetest smile. She is still beautiful, but now our baby is a young lady. She is kind, (especially to old people like her aunts!), compassionate, loving and smart. We all love her and the little girls think Sally is the best thing since sliced bread!
She is getting ready to graduate from high school (sigh and a tear) and start a brand new chapter in her life. I know God has great plans for her. She is going to USC (woo hoo) to major in nursing. Sally will be a great one. I can't wait to see how God continues to use her in the future.
Sal Gal, we are all so proud of you. We love you more than words can say!
Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
