Happy Birthday, Pam!

Today is a one of those milestone birthdays for my sister Pam. I won't tell you how old she is, but she starts a new decade today! We went to NYC during spring break to celebrate this birthday. While she would kill me if I told you how old she was, you would be surprised because she looks a lot younger than her years. This is her first year of retirement from education. She was a media specialist for over 30 years. She is staying busy keeping her oldest grandchild, Anna Camille.

Pam has always been a great sister, even if she did tell on me when we were little for sticking my tongue out at Mama which earned me a whipping at the time! ;) She is tender hearted and compassionate and always willing to lend a helping hand. She loves to read and leads a women's book club at Southside. She is a loving wife to her husband, a great Mom to her children and a doting Mimi to her granddaughters. She is a reserved person but will take a risk when necessary like riding the subway in NYC and going "underground" to score a pocketbook! :)

When it comes to family, I am SO blessed. I am thankful God gave me sisters who are always there. They mean the world to me. Have a Happy ?? Birthday, Pam. I love you very much!
