**SIGH**

Spring Break is good for the mind, soul and body. So far, this is just what the doctor ordered.

Monday, I enjoyed lunch with my favorite d group girls and some of their siblings. Good food and great fellowship with some awesome young ladies.

Yesterday, I enjoyed a shopping filled day with my sisters from Cowpens to Charlotte. Our first stop was Lillie Gardner's, a consignment shop on Main Street in Cowpens. It is a wonderful place to explore. They have everything from antiques to monogrammed items. I bought a baby gift for some friends. From there, we headed to Mary Jo's. Mary Jo's is a fabric store in Gastonia. If you can't find it at Mary Jo's it does not exist. I have been wanting to try my hand at some special sewing projects, so I found something to try. I will post the results when I get them finished....don't hold your breath, it may be awhile! :) We left Mary Jo's and headed towards Charlotte to IKEA. Oh, do I LOVE this store. It is massive. We enjoyed strolling around for several hours. I bought a cool light for my bathroom. It looks like a vase and is really pretty and it was only $6.99. I bought some little friends who have a new sister some prizes and got all of it for under $24.00. We left IKEA in search of Target, but ended up stopping at Crate and Barrel, another one of my favorite stores. For someone who doesn't cook too often, I have a fascination with kitchen gadgets, dishes and things to cook in! I bought a small casserole dish that will fix just enough for one. Our last stop was the best one. We went to pick up my nephew Ben and enjoyed spending time with him at O'Charleys for supper. He just bought a house in Rock Hill and we saw pictures of his new house and talked over paint chips with him!

Today, I have been to the grocery store and Dollar General. My part of supper for my friends with the new baby is cooking, Molly is snoring and I am getting ready to tackle cutting out my sewing project.

Spring break. It's a good thing!

Sounds like a great week!! I'm so jealous - just this week I've been wanting to go to Mary Jo's so badly!! I need to make some pillows for my bedroom. One day I'll get there... ;)
