More of The Air I Breathe...

"Worship is the activity of the human soul."
Here's how I interpret this statement....we all worship something, we worship that something ALL the time. So worship just doesn't happen on Sunday morning @ 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 it happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Why do we feel the need to worship something???
"I think it's because we were designed that way. We were made for God.
I like these next paragraphs...
"You've been created by God. And if that wasn't enough, you've also been created for Him. As a result, there's an internal homing device riveted deep with your soul that perpetually longs for your Maker. An internal, God-ward magnet, pulling your being toward Him.
Stamped in God's image, we know that there's something to attach to, something we fit with, someone we belong to, somewhere to call home.
That's why we come from the womb equipped for connectivity with God, prewired to praise. And that's why, from the youngest age, we begin to worship."
Worship the Lord of lords and the King of kings for He alone is worthy. God, I pray You will convict our hearts when we try to fill that God sized place in our lives with other things or people. Help us to come back to our first love. Father, we crown you today with our praises and we seek to honor You with our worship every minute of our lives. Amen.
